Our Government of Canada client has a won contract opportunity for a Senior Programmer/Analyst with expertise in PHP programming language.
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: March 31, 2024 (+ extension option for 1-yr)
Location: Fully remote (candidate must reside in Canada)
Security Clearance: Enhanced Reliability
Role Requirements:
- Ten (10) years of experience in the analysis, design, and development of software applications;
- Knowledge and experience with PHP.
Tasks:
- Facilitate discussions with business to identify business gaps in relation to current and future business objectives;
- Developing application patterns and prototypes;
- Attend meetings with clients when required to clarify requirements;
- Develop and test code in support of identified business functions;
- Support existing Applications/services;
- Document and track activities using the GoC Department’s tools and procedures;
- Raise issues to management for considerations when appropriate.
Deliverables:
- Various documentation such as design document, program Specifications, test plans;
- Analyse, design, test, maintain and implement services solutions as per business requirements and as per project’s milestones;
- Option analysis and architecture of chosen solution;
- Business requirements documents.
